Scuba

Nothing else mattersI let the rain pour down on me as I trod home from the cemetery. It has been a while since the incident, but I still can't get over it. It's like a movie played by a scratched disc, the scene repeating over and over, mercilessly pounding on my already weak morale. I stop and lean by a stop sign, crumpling my already-ruined black suit. I check my watch. It reads 8:37 PM four hours since the funeral. I was the last one to leave, staring at the coffin under somebody's umbrella, I can't remember whose. I stood there alone when that person left, standing alone in the rain. As I continue my trek home, the movie replays once again.Nothing else matters
